At Distinct Roof Services we use TOP QAULITY WHIRLWIND roof ventilators. They are backed by a 10 year warranty and available in most colorbond colours.
The manufacturer recommends one whirly bird per hundred square meters. This ensures effectiveness and longevity.
Standard Installs are $290 inc GST.

WIND DRIVEN VENTILATION
The Whirlwind is a premium aluminium wind-driven ventilator, uniquely fitted with stainless steel bearings for durability.
Designed to remove heat and moisture from your roof space without using electricity, it provides an efficient and reliable solution year-round.
Whirlybirds work by harnessing wind and rising heat to create a vacuum that draws hot air out of your roof. This prevents heat from flowing back into the home.
Even in still conditions, the “stack effect” keeps the vent spinning naturally as rising heat generates pressure differences.

We’re proud to now offer powered ventilation – a premium solution for efficiently reducing roof space heat and humidity. Available in solar powere, mains powered and hybrid models, these systems deliver reliable performance and year-round comfort.
Powered
Our 30v Greenvent comes equipped with an advanced Environmental Control System (ECS). Designed for efficiency, it runs on solar power whenever available and seamlessly switches to mains when needed. While on mains, the fan cycles for 8 minutes every half hour, ensuring consistent airflow. The ECS automatically activates at 27°C and powers down once the temperature drops to 25°C, delivering smart, energy-conscious climate control.

Solar
Our 15V Solar Vent runs entirely on renewable energy, meaning it won’t cost you a cent to operate. Delivering the extraction power of around six wind-driven vents, it provides a powerful and efficient way to clear heat and humidity during Australia’s hottest days.
